great road until Thika. Then the shoulder is very iffy. I decided to turn north late in hte day. Eventually I ended up in the small village of Gutundu. Very hilly the last 10 or 15 kilometers. Give yourself enough time. Pretty good hotel there (Oasis Hotel).by mjansson
