From the Algarve coast up to the summit of Monichique mountain (approx 3000 feet). This roure follows a selection of back roads and some main roads but outwith the busy August period the raffic is light. The climb up to the summit is on smooth tarmac road built to service the radar station A cafe is open at the top for refreshements.by nevillesville
