Route Details

Circular route starting on the N65 bike trail. Through Newton-on-Ouse, Alne, Easingwold, Coxwold, Byland Abbey, Wass, Ampleforth, Yearsley & Brandsby. Back to York on the B1363, which low-traffic. Mostly gently hills between Easingwold & Brandby, but a steeper climb over one mile into Yearsly. From there, it is downhill or flat back to York. Plenty of places to stop for food or drink along the way.
