Circular route starting on the N65 bike trail. Through Newton-on-Ouse, Alne, Easingwold, Coxwold, Byland Abbey, Wass, Ampleforth, Yearsley & Brandsby. Back to York on the B1363, which low-traffic. Mostly gently hills between Easingwold & Brandby, but a steeper climb over one mile into Yearsly. From there, it is downhill or flat back to York. Plenty of places to stop for food or drink along the way. by ak101
