The way points of this bicycle route:
Confusing signs here, follow the sign to Keller Creek and begin climbing
This intersection is much more major than appears on the Bikely map. FS 58 is a main north-south road, much of it is paved
Similar to previous note, FS 58 is a major route, not the tiny little road shown on this map
If you have wide tires or cross bike or MTB, you can take 3250 to 3200, which is the top of Five Rivers Rd.
If you go clockwise, the "Upper Deadwood Creek Rd" or "Five Rivers Rd" is wider and better-maintained than FS 37. On this map, at the Five Rivers intersection, it is labeled FS 3230 but the sign at the intersection is FS 37
Beautiful covered bridge
If you have time, the ride up Lobster Valley Rd is very beautiful.
Some areas with not much shoulder, don't ride during busy time of day, but at quiet times of day or days of week it is very ridable. If you started at Waldport very early in AM and rode clockwise, you'd see very little traffic but you'd be riding into the wind between Yachats and Waldport to finish.
Ranger Stn here sells two maps of the Siuslaw Forest, the black & white map is MUCH more accurate, but not completely accurate.
