The way points of this bicycle route:
Most people would be coming from Sydney on the Old Northern Rd from Dural.
Main street of Wisemans Ferry. Hotel is on the right. Head north towards the park on the point. and Wisemans Car ferry. Delrio resort is reached via the Webb Ck Ferry, shown as St Albans Rd on the map, on River Rd, a short distance to the left. Take Chaselings Rd about 2 km south from ferry.
Portland Head Park. Leave cars here and meet others at 9am for the bike ride. Non cycling partners could head to Delrio resort via the Webb Ck Ferry on River Rd. Book in time is from 11 am.
Take Wisemans Ferry to the other side of river.
R on Wisemans Ferry Rd for the ride to Spencer and (optional) Mangrove Mountain.
Western Commission Track on left goes up to the old convict road. Mountain bikes only, no caars.
Track to Dharug National Park is on left. Walking circuit and camping area.
Out of the shade!
Small village, no facilities from memory.
Cafe and store here for a break. fast group can go on to Mangrove Mtn, another 20 or so km with a significant climb. Slower group can return to Wisemans Ferry and Delrio.
