Start at Station. Trains every 30 mins from Sydney. Take George St.
Can go up George St to shops and mall, or avoid by turning L here.
Check out historic church on left , then follow The Terrace
L onto Bridge St. Watch for traffic, narrow lane over bridge. Or take the footpath on other side.
L on Freeman's Reach Rd. This is narrow and the locals tend to speed so beware.
R on Hibberts Ln
Road climbs up to Kurmond Rd
L on Kurmond Rd
R at Shepherds Rd
Picnic shelter here with water. Nearby Servo has a shop.
L on Creek Ridge Rd.
L on Spinks Rd. Alternative route is via Old East Kurrajong Rd to East Kurrajong Rd..
R on Valley Rd. Hilly.
L on Kurrajong Rd
R on Comleroy Rd
Blaxlands Ridge Rd on right.
Descent to Little Wheeny Ck. Dirt road, steep and bumpy.
Camp sites with water, toilet.
Steep climb up dirt road, but gets easier towards top.
Mountain Lagoon Rd on left.
Steep descent.
Old church. Grassed area for a break.
Right on Upper Colo Rd
Colo Heights Rd on L.
Putty Road bridge over Colo River. Upper Colo Rd goes under bridge. Park with picnic tables and a toilet for a break.
Gravel road is narrow in places, but not much traffic.
Road climbs up from here.
R on Lower Portland Rd. Sealed road along ridge.
Fast descent.
Road levels out at narrow bridge.
Steepish climb
Bull Ridge Rd on right.
Nice downhill to Sackville Rd.
L on Sackville Rd
R at Tizzana Rd. Sackville Ferry is straight ahead.
Caravan Park on left has camping area. Hot showers. Tank water.
Camping Ground
L at Coromandel Rd for a visit to the Old Historic Church. They do coffee and scones every day from 10 am.
Church
L on Wilberforce Rd
Cross bridge on path or brave the traffic.
Can take a side road to the top. Steep climb to finish.
R at George St
Pub here for a well earned drink. Shops and cafes.
