The way points of this bicycle route:
Challenging, but beautiful, ride to Williamsburg. Follows the Alexandria route for much of the ride with the side trip to Willilamsburg and a return to Water Street on the Lower Trail. Start at Mt. Nittany Wheelworks and head up Krumine Dr to W. Cherry Ln
Merge right onto W. Cherry Ln
Right onto Martin St.
Left onto Blue Course Drive
Use underpass to cross over to Blue Course bike path.
Cross over highway from bike path to make turn onto W. College
Right onto West College
Right onto W. Whitehall Rd.
Left onto Nixon Rd
Right onto W. Pine Grove Rd
Left onto S. Water St. -- PA 26 S. Pine Grove Climb starts here. 2 miles. Mostly 8% grade with a short section of 10-11%
Right onto Charter Oak/Petersburg Rd.
Stay straight onto PA 305, Greenwood rd
Right turn onto Diamond St/Juniata Valley Pike Rd/PA 305. On your right is Valley General Store. Refreshments & they'll let you use the restroom.
Left onto Juniata Valley Pike/PA 305
Left onto River Rd
Cross US 22 onto Old Route 22
Turn left to stay on Old Rt 22
Bear left onto Sipes Rd.
Right onto Hartslog Valley Rd.
Right onto Williamsburg Mtn. Rd. Start of 3 mile climb 6-7% grade, about 1250 ft of vertical rise.
Left onto Coverdale/New Beginnings Rd
Left onto E. 1st St. convenience store at 1st & High, access to the rail trail on your right.
After your visit to the convenience store for water, etc., turn right onto bike path (Lower Trail).
Exit the trail behind the Water St. Flea Mkt. If it's summer, there's a soft-serve ice cream place that has piled-high cones for a buck or two.
Cross US 22 and head left from the market.
Bear right onto PA 453.
Bear right onto PA 45/Spruce Creek Rd.
Turn left onto Huntingdon Furnace Rd. (signs to Camp Kanesatake -- we call this the "Camp K" turn.)
Left onto PA 350/PA 45 Truck/ Warriors Mark Path Rd.
Right onto Dry Hollow Rd
Left onto Marengo Rd.
Right onto W. Gatesburg Rd.
Left onto Whitehall Rd.
Left onto Nixon Rd.
Left onto Science Park Rd.
Right onto Circleville bike path
Left off of the bike path through the bushes onto the Gravel drive that connects with W. Cherry Ln.
