The way points of this bicycle route:
There are many starting options for the white rim, Here we start on the top of the finishing climb and go clockwise to have a good warm up and get the flat sections under our belts early so we can get out onto the rim early in the day.
Those that take the time the day before, can scout out the correct tracks to find a shortcut here. Otherwise stick to the main roads.
National park entry! dont forget your wallet for the entry fee!
Top of Schafer trail- Start of white rim trail.
Toilet here. NO WATER! Road to Potash on left. If you are trying to do it in one day you better have LOTS of water and loads of food and be prepared for many hours of intense cycling. Enjoy!
Gotta love the lookouts!
You gotta stop at Mussleman arch! for those with totally fried brains-Dont try to ride the arch!
If you think this is easy it's because it is! The hard stuff comes much later when you are cooked!
If you are having doubts or difficulties you can still turn around. to continue brings you to the " point of no return"
Did you like that climb? there are more to follow!!!
Top of the descent, Good spot for lunch!
Show us your slot!!!
Dont even think of drinking this water! Could be a very bad idea!
Hardscrabble for a reason!!!
Do not go left here unless you are seeking a quiet dead end to rest.
Do Not be a fool and go up Taylor Canyon! It has been the fatal move for many an adventure seeking fool!
Hope you brought some painkillers so you can sleep tonight!!
