TL, SP Wells. Pass tea shop RHS. Onto B3139. Just after passing The New Inn RHS;
TR, no SP, climb Mutton Lane. (Gets steep at the top) Bear right at the top
TL at TJ, SP Glastonbury, along B3151
TL at XR, SP Bagley, Panborough, Mudgley,Threale. Pass houses left and right. Ignore the first TR opposite a red post box on a post. Just after red post box in wall LHS;
TR, no SP (weak bridge sign LHS) descend. CARE, steep and the bridge is humped at the bottom
TL at XR, no SP (road opposite is a track. Along narrow road with ditches either side, now on the Somerset levels

TR, SP National Byway (brown sign) next to Pine Tree farm. Continue along the lane zig zagging around following the Byway signs. Enter Wells (housing estate) ST512446
SO at XR (traffic lights) along Tucker Street. ST543455
TL, no SP (traffic lights) follow the filter lane, pass Little Theatre RHS, road bears right and pass Esso garage LHS
SO at mini roundabout, SP National Byway, Sustrans sign. Pass Priest Row RHS. Keep going straight. You will go along a road that is no entry to cars but has a cyclepath on the left side. Pass Catholic Church RHS.
THE ROUTE CARRIES ON FROM HERE. However the idea is to see Wells, so TR, no SP opposite sign for White Hart hotel, along Sadler Street. This road leads into the centre and as you descend the Cathedral can be seen on the left. At the bottom of this short street is the square and tea shops and shops.Once you have looked round Wells return to this turn of point to continue the route

TR at TJ, SP Bath, Bristol, along Mountery Road. ST549462

TR, SP Weston, at Market Cross. Bear right at the war memorial (now Wideats road) continue along this road (you will pass the turn to Wedmore that was used on the way out and return to campsite ST459532
