The way points of this bicycle route:
93 Hammond Ave (Sturt Highway)
Turn right.
Turn left.
Cross over Lake Albert Road and follow the shared path around the lake.
Toilets up on the left!!
Turn left.
Turn left.
Continue straight ahead along Plumpton Road. Don't be put off by the "No Through Road" sign - the road continues as shown on the map but soon becomes a bumpy dirt track and then a grassy stock route! It's perfectly rideable however, even with 20 X 1.5in semi-slick tyres, and the track through the grass is easily followed.
Turn left. The road climbs a bit and then drops soon after Gelston Park, but it's nothing very steep.
Turn right.
No public access to Rocky Falls unfortunately.
Turn right. Crown land to the right is not rideable but can be followed on foot down to the Mangoplah River for a look.
Turn left.
Turn left for The Rock, or right to return to Wagga Wagga. Olympic Way can get quite busy with cars, trucks and semi-trailers but has good visibility and a wide shoulder for most of the way back to Wagga Wagga.
Turn right into The Rock village.
Access road to The Rock Nature Reserve.
3km steep ascent by foot, about 2 hours. Worthwhile on a clear day.
