Recommend ride from Whitetop to Abingdon, VA. It is mostly down hill. There are several bike shops that will transport you and your bike to Whitetop, for a fee, $ 10.00 to $20.00 depending the number of people needing transportation. Damascus is a nice place to stop for lunch and relax.
