straight ahead. signposted "Caister Roman fort" which is 50metres ahead on the right hand side. Info boards, groundworks and exposed hypocaust
Turn right. Beware fast moving traffic junctioning between dual carriageways

turn right at the church for the beach (cafe in the car park, in summer)
Horsey windmill, WC, nature / countryside trails. Ask at the tea room / gift shop. The windmill itself is open in summer too, with great views of the surrounding countryside from the top
seals often on the beach, take the rough track straight ahead
turn right for the remote Waxham church
Beach, cafes, ice creams etc
Happisburgh lighthouse can be seen on the right (the red & white hooped tall thing)

Kingfisher cafe & chip shop
turn right - signposted Bacton
past Bacton gas terminal
beach, cliffs, shops, cafes etc. WC on the left hand side of the road as you go down the hill
small shop. the Clifftop Cafe is well worth a stop
for cake break at the clifftop cafe
access to the beach down the slope. Then retrace route back to the main road.

beach, pier, shops, cafes, ice creams, chips, banks, PO, etc.
there is the possibility of busy, fast moving traffic / motorists who blankly refuse to obey the speed limit
charming seaside town with a range of shops, banks etc and a very nice beach
visitor centre, nature trail etc, access to beach. Sheffield-stand bike parking provided
