The way points of this bicycle route:

Portland Oregon

Union Station

cross over Burnside, go up the windy little path that used to be a street

Washington Park

a really STEEP bit here, sorry. It is over soon.

out of the park, you'll still be climbing a bit, but not nearly as steeply.

turn left here onto the bike path

the top!

end of bike path on this side, cross over the highway to the other side, continue on the path

Beaverton

Bike path ends

you could visit me now if you wanted, and use the washroom.

downhill!

watch the cross traffic. They are supposed to stop, and usually do

that's Nike on your left

NOW it gets pretty.

caution on this road (Cornelius-Schefflin)...

take the second exit (Verboort Rd)

take the third exit (Martin Rd)

Forest Grove

on your left here is the Grand Lodge, a McMenamin's Brewpub and Hotel. They've got bathrooms AND a restaurant, if you are hungry. They appear to like bicyclists, I stop there a lot :-)

the Fern Hill wetlands are fun; maybe they'll have birds passing through

there is not a hill ON Fern Hill Rd, it is off to your left.

rollers start here...

Newberg

central Newberg

you can stop around here, but I'll continue the route to Champoeg for you.

i know it shows a road here, but it isn't a public road. don't go there...

take care here; busy road...
