The entire stretch of Neo Tiew Road is particularly dangerous as the two-way road is narrow and winding with dense vegetation on both sides which limits the line of sight of drivers coming in the opposite direction. Buses, trucks and lorries frequently speed and carry out dangerous overtaking maneuvers on this road resulting in numerous close shaves between cyclists and motorists.
