The way points of this bicycle route:
Route is roughly Seattle to: Renton, Issaquah, Redmond, Woodinville, Bothell, Shoreline, then back through Seattle, going counter clock-wise. Mostly on roads with almost half on paved trails. Be ready for all kinds of scenery, climbs, and traffic - not for the squeemish!
The traffic is pretty rough on Rainier Ave, get ready for a few nasty potholes too. No bike lane until about Renton. Alternate route could be Lake Washington Blvd.
Turn left onto the Airport access road.
Get ready for the big climb! No bike lane or shoulder for 1/4 mile, be careful.
Start the big climb, look out for traffic since there's no bike lane or shoulder for the next 1/4 mile.
There's at least a big shoulder here - trash-ridden but a good distance from fast traffic.
Strip mall heaven - no bike lane, fast cars - ride with extreme caution!
Some parts of Highway 900 have little or no shoulder, with cars traveling 50+ mph. But the scenery is great!
Coming out of the forest, be ready for some heavy traffic for about a mile. Be especially careful around the entrance ramp to I-90.
