R on D77 for 300m to D910 and cross this (WITH CARE); cont over AR into Parçay-Meslay

300m after AR, R on Rue de la Mairie to cont on D77 as it winds through Parçay-Meslay and further S to Rochecorbon

Rochecorbon

L (E) at x-rds with D77 then s/o at next rbt into Rue des Pélus, crossing Rue de Vauvert and Rte de la Malourie

R at nxt jct and R again on Rue de la Vallee Coquette to head S for 700m to 5-way x-rds

L (E) on Rue du Bois Richer until x-rds shortly after sharp left bend (where houses start)

R on Rue de la Bonne Damme to D47

R on D47 then 2nd L (Rue Charles Bordes)

L/R at la Croix Buisee and again at le Glandier to cont E on Rue Baffert, crossing rail line and Rue A des Gauthiers into Vernou-sur-Brenne

R on Rue A Briand to cross D46 into centre ville

Vernou-sur-Brenne

R (with flow of traffic) on Rue L Arnoult (D76) and cont S (becomes Rue du Prof R Debre), keeping L at edge of town onto D1 headed E to Noizay

Noizay

Cont E on D1 to la Bardouillière

La Bardoulliere

At end of buildings, R (S) on Coteau de la Bardouille, crossing two rivers and rail line, to t-jct

L (E) at T (Rue Duchesse de la Vallière) to Rue P Scarron where R/L onto Rue de la Grange Champion to D5; cross this then next L on Rue des Sables to stay off main road a bit longer (part way along, on the right, is a minor road leading to an old velodrome)

R at Rue P Scarron and imm L on Rue de la Grange Champion to D5

Cross D5 then next L on Rue des Sables to stay off main road a bit longer; part way along, on the right, is a minor road leading to an old velodrome

L on D952 to bridge where R to cross the river Loire to Amboise

Amboise

R on D751 (Quai du General de Gaulle) for about 50m then L (S) on Rue Victor Hugo (you may need to go past it and make a u-turn, then turn R into Rue VH)

Head S then SE on Rue Victor Hugo, past the chateau, (you may need to go past it and make a u-turn, then turn R into Rue VH), to D61

Cross D61 and cont S

R/L at Ave des Montils to cont SE on D81 (Rue du Clos Chaffour) to D31

Cross (under?) D31 to cont SE into and through the Foret d'Amboise to Civray-de-Touraine

Shortly before Civray, when a large woodland on the left comes close to the road, turn L on Rue des Caves, keeping the trees on your left, then bend R to head S to D40 in centre ville

Civray-de-Touraine

L (E) on D40 towards Chenonceaux for 1.8km, then R towards the château, cross the rail line, then imm L/R to head E on Chem de la Varenne (south of the rail line) to D80 (views of the château on R)

R towards the chateau to cross rail line then L and imm R (E) to ride alongside it to D80; may be views of the Chateau on the right

R (S) on D80 to cross the river; look for views of the chateau on your right

Cross (under?) D976 to cont S to Francueil

Francueil

Cont S on D80, crossing AR and passing through Luzillé, to D31

Imm before D31, L on slip road for 200m, then cross the D31 onto minor road to Chédigny

Chedigny

L on D25, R on D10, then L on D25 again nearly to Chambourg-sur-Indre

Before crossing river, L at x/rds to stay on D25 headed SE, following the river l’Indre, through Corbery to Beaulieu-lès-Loches

R on D760 to cross the river twice and rail line into Loches
