Start: Head South on 27th St
Turn right onto Josephine and immediately veer to the left up the hill on Barry St.
Turn right onto Mission St.
Cross 18th and continue on Pius St.
Veer to the left up the hill onto Brosville St.
Turn left up the hill onto Monastery St.
Take in the view from the parking lot on your left, just in front of St. Paul's Cathedral.
Turn right to continue on Monastery
Turn right onto St Martin St.
Turn left onto St. Thomas St.
Turn right onto E. Warrington Ave.
Continue on E. Warrington Ave.
Turn right onto Allen St.
Turn left onto Eureka St.
Turn right onto Beltzhoover Ave.
Turn right into Grandview Park
Take in the view from the overlook. When you are done here, turn around and turn right onto Bailey Ave.
Turn right onto Wyoming St.
Take in the view of Mt. Washington's Grandview Ave. while you ride.
Turn left onto Shaler St. and descend to the bottom of the hill.
Turn right onto Woodville Ave.
Turn right onto Greentree Rd.
Turn left on S Main St.
Veer right onto Neidel St.
Turn right on Hassler St., then make an immediate left on Steuben St.
Turn right on Lorenz Ave.
Turn right at the top of the hill onto Rue Grande Vue st.
Ride up onto the sidewalk entrance to the West End Overlook.
Enjoy what is often considered the most beautiful view of the city of Pittsburgh. When you are done here, head down to the parking lot behind the building and continue downhill on Fairview Ave.
Turn left onto Valonia St.
Continue on Advent St.
Make the sharp right onto Angle St.
Head up the hill and to the right onto Balfour St.
Turn right onton Furley St.
Turn left onto Chartiers Ave.
Turn left at the T onto Steuben St.
Turn right onto Alexander St.
Turn left onto S Main St.
Enter the West End Circle and get on the West End Bridge. (There is a sidewalk on the left side of the bridge that will take you to Western Ave.)
Get off the bridge onto Western Ave.
Turn left onto Brighton Rd.
Turn right onto W North Ave.
Turn left onto Buena Vista St.
If you turn right into Channel 11's parking lot, they have an excellent view from the parking lot. This makes the list as an honorable mention.
Turn left onto E. Burgess St.
Turn right onto Maple Ave.
Turn left onto Legion Way
Turn left onto Perrysville Ave.
Turn left onto N Charles St. and continue across the Swindell Bridge.
Veer right onto Essen St.
Turn right onto Sunset Ave.
Turn left onto S. Side Ave.
Turn right onto Mathias St.
Stay right on Mathias St.
Enter the cemetary road.
Turn left up the hill on the loop.
Take in this excellent, albeit virtually unknown view of Pittsburgh. Continue down the hill on the cemetary road and exit from the Southeast corner onto Lappe Lane, then turn right onto Leister St.
Head down the hill on Will St.
Turn right onto Haslage Ave.
Go down the hill again on Kaiser Ave.
Make a U-turn onto Itin St. and head down the hill. Itin will turn into Chestnut St.
Cross over 579, go under the train tracks, and just before getting on the ramp to the 16th St. Bridge, turn right onto Progress St.
Make the first left off Progress onto Chesbro St.
Cross River Ave. and turn right onto the bike path.
This view, although not from a vista, is one of the most romantic views of the city. The dock immediately in between the 7th and 6th St. Bridges makes an ideal setting for eating lunch. Continue on the bike path when you have had enough of this spot.
Immediately after passing underneath the Fort Duquesne Bridge, make your way North and get on the ramp up to the bicycle bridge to the Point.
Go under the parkway and work your way Northeast to Fort Duquesne Blvd.
Turn right onto 9th st.
Turn left on Liberty Ave., and an immediate right onto 7th Ave.
Just in front of the Civic Arena, veer to the right onto Bedford Ave. and continue up the hill.
Turn right onto Crawford St. and enjoy this close-up view of downtown.
Turn left on Centre Ave. (If you do not want to ride through the Hill District, you can make your way to the County Jail and take the Jail Trail to the Panther Hollow Trail.)
Turn right onto Heldman St.
Turn left onto Reed St., go across Dinwiddie and continue around the bend on Lombard St.
Stay to the left on Nigh Way.
Turn right on Bentley Dr.
Turn right onto Oak Hill Dr.
Turn left on Terrace St.
Take in the view from the overlook at the Oak Hill Townhomes, then head away from the overlook on Allequippa St.
Veer right onto Allequippa St.
Turn right onto University Drive B
Stay right on the switchback
Turn right onto Parkman Ave. (Bigelow Blvd.)
Cross Forbes and continue on Schenley Dr.
Stay left on Schenley Dr. and continue across the bridge. When you get across the bridge, stay to the right onto the Phipps Conservatory sidewalk.
Go across the Panther Hollow Bridge on the right sidewalk.
Immediately after exiting the bridge, veer right onto the sidewalk that parallels Panther Hollow Rd.
Turn left through the bike tunnel. Keep left onto the sidewalk when exiting the tunnel.
Head up the hill on Overlook Dr.
Enjoy the view from the Schnley Overlook. Continue on Overlook Dr. when you are done here.
Turn right onto Greenfield Rd. and cross the Greenfield Bridge.
Go straight (slightly to the left) on Ronald St. after exiting the bridge.
Turn right onto Greenfield Ave.
Make a left onto Kaercher St., go to the end, and continue on Forrest St. to the end.
This is the last view. You may recognize this view from the UPMC advertisements that were plastered all over town. Work your way back to Bigelow and turn left.
Go down the hill on Bigelow until you reach Greenfield Ave.
Turn left onto Greenfield Ave.
Turn right onto 2nd Ave. and stay to the right on Swinburne St.
Get on the Jail Trail
Turn left and cross over the Hot Metal Bridge back to Southside Works.
Turn right onto S Water St.
