The way points of this bicycle route:
Start the ride at the intersection of Ainslie Pde and George Bass Drive. Proceed along Ainslie Pde to the lookout on the hill in Tomakin at the beach. This route involves returning along Bengello Beach (Sth Broulee Beach) and this can only be done at low tide on the firm sand. If the tide is not low enough the return can be via the same route as the outward journey.
Great views in all directions from the lookout. Return to Geo Bass Drive via Sunpatch Pde
Turn left into Geo Bass Dr. This is a busy road keep to the shoulder.
Cross Tomaga River Bridge on the footpath
Turn left into Annetts Pde
Turn left into River Rd
Turn right into Annetts Pde
Turn right on to foreshore reserve. Follow this along to the Toilet Block and Boat Ramp
Great view from Mossy Point Headland. Retrace path and rejoin Annetts Pde heading south to Broulee
Turn off Broulee Rd by going straight ahead at the traffic island
Follow gravel track south along the back on Bengello Beach
Cross Bengello Creek on Timber Bridge. Follow track south to the start of the airport
Head inland to Geo Bass Dr
Cross Geo Bass Drive to join sandy track through to the Racecourse. This is a busy road take care when crossing
Join Donnelly Dr. Proceed passed the stables and race track
Surfair Speedway on the right
Cross Geo Bass Dr and head to the airport. Take care crossing the road
Head through the camping area to the beach
Access the beach and cycle north to Broulee. This is only possible at low tide. If the sand is too soft return along the same route as the outward journey
Leave the beach near the Broulee Surf Club
Turn sharp right up Heath St to the view pOint at the top of the hill
Turn left to the view point
Great View of Nth Broulee Beach. Return to Heath St by the same route.
Turn right into Grant St and head back to Mossy Point
Stay on Annetts Pde heading North to Geo Bass Dr
Turn right here if you are looking for Coffee. Visit the Muffins and More Cafe at the corner of Pacific St and Annetts Pde
Turn right on to Geo Bass Dr. This is a busy road stay on the shoulder
Ride ends at Start Point
