The way points of this bicycle route:
Exit from South West corner of Toa Payoh to the junction between Thomson Road and PIE.
Cross junction here on to footpath, or else need to make a difficult right turn into Chancery Lane, especially when traffic is heavy.
Although this is not a main road, but still quite a number of cars use this short cut to Bukit Timah Road.
Upslope before and down slope after this near peak point.
I haven't ridden on Balmoral Road before. This is the begining of the parth that haven't ridden on before.
I suppose there is a proper junction to cross here, since it is just outside Raffles Girls' School.
Since Tanglin Road is one way, hopefully the footpath is bicycle friendly. Otherwise, just find a crossing to ride through either Cuscaden Road or besides Far East Shopping Centre to Orchard Boulevard.
Cross over on to Napier Road, where I think its traffic is not too bad.
This small stretch of Holland road is tricky. It is upslope, heavy and messy traffic when vehicles turn in from Farrer Road and merge from two into one lane. In addition, there is the Circle Line Construction going on further up.
The final upslope along Holland Avenue.
