Toa Payoh bicycle port - South-East
by Back2Nature

The way points of this bicycle route:

Ride on to the footpath along Toa Payoh East.

After many years, recently I noticed it is made bicycle friendly to cycle down, with some skills, besides a small flight of steps to a footpath behind the school.

Another improvement: a roughtly 30cm steep protruding hump like structure across this path somewhere before this point has been there for many years has been removed.

The footpath leads to a bridge across PIE. The bridge has slopes allowing pushing of bicycle up and down.

There is another bridge to cross over the river or big drain. (Distances may not be accurate)

Either ride on to Jalan Tenteram or follow this route to the underpass to cross CTE into St. Michael's Road.

Further up along this road, there is a very big lying Buddha statue in a Burmese temple on the left, visible from the road.
