Thunderbolt to Forsyth Park/Downtown Area

The way points of this bicycle route:

Thunderbolt

The beautiful riverfront in Thunderbolt!

Daffin Heights Neighborhood, Savannah

This part of "my" route is geared towards staying off of Skidaway and crossing it in a relatively safe place...Obviously there are several alternatives nearby.

Watch this area around the time when school lets out.

The most dangerous spot on the whole ride!!!

Cross over the Truman with extreme caution, and DO NOT attempt it at night without a powerful light, as there is NO lighting on the 52nd St. overpass.

Forsyth Park

Now that you are downtown, you can go anywhere with ease! I usually use Lincoln/Habersham because they are the official bike routes, but Barnard Street is also great if you are going farther West.

Having made the loop I have seen described here by another intrepid user, you can now get yourself back to the East Side.
