about here you go through the "scramble" section - a few barriers, lots of dirt (hey, no one said this was going to be safe)
L Soquel San Jose (Summit Market is about 1/4 mile straight ahead on the right side of Summit Rd)
R Laurel Glen (Casalegno's Store is here). Bailout point 1 - continue down Soquel-San Jose Rd 3+miles, R Soquel Dr 2 mi, L 7th Ave .7 mi, L Eddy Ln - 784 Eddy (this saves about 12 mi and some climbing)
S - becomes Mountain View (this is the top of Laurel Glen)

R Water. Bailout point 2 - L Water .5 mi, R Poplar 1 blk, L Soquel Ave .5 mi, R Capitola .4 mi, R 7th Ave .3 mi, L Eddy - 784 Eddy (this saves 8mi (none of them climbs) and misses some scenic stuff)
