The way points of this bicycle route:

Montclair

Dumfries-Triangle Rescue Squad Station 17 15219 Holleyside Drive Montclair, VA 22025 Parking along Spring Branch Blvd.

Woodbridge

Cardinal Drive is 4-Lane, high volume, no shoulder. Many prefer to ride the sidewalk on the South-West side of the street for this short stretch.

You can continue to Minnieville and turn right, but I prefer the quieter residential route.

I pick up the sidewalk here. Minnieville is a very high-volume, high-speed, 6-lane with no shoulder.

I also ride the sidewalk along Dale Blvd which is 4-lane, high-speed near this intersection.

Narrows to two divided lanes with marked on-street parking. The street is still high-volume at this point but rideable. Sidewalk is still available.

Turn right on Hillendale at the fire station. Hillendale is two-lane high-volume with marked parking on the street. I ride the street and try to stay within the marked street parking areas.

Pick up the bike trail at Prince William Parkway. The bike trail runs all the way into Manassas.

Chinn Park Rec Center and Library

Shopping center with grocery store, sandwich shops, etc. These are pretty much the last services until Manassas

Prince William County Complex County office buildings Off-road biking complex Potomac Cannons baseball stadium 9/11 Memorial

Bike trail continues along the parkway which is a 4-lane divided highway, 55 MPH with shoulder.

Manassas

Shopping Center If you turn left (South) at Liberia you can short-cut the route. The bike trail continues all the way to Route 234, turning this into the Manassas Short Loop.

Shopping center with grocery store and sandwich shops. Hoadly Road has a nice shoulder all the way back up to the Prince William Parkway.

This stretch of Minnieville Road is narrow, winding 2-lane, downhill with no (or very little) shoulder. for about a mile or so.

Another shopping center here. Minnieville is still 2-lane, high volume at this point but the road is wider and there are shoulders off and on.
