Named because of the Chrome works, visible in its dark form from most parts of west Teesside.- this route takes in normally busy main roads, but early in the morning when you need to clear those cobwebs, the roads are suprisingly clear. The offroad sections are generally Ok. Ive done many times on my road bike with 20mm rims and 25 mm Panracer tyres.by tony and tricia
