The way points of this bicycle route:
Turn south along Leaseburg Canal.
Check gate
RR crossing
Las Cruces Dam Outlet Channel. Follow this waterway west to Valley Dr. and eventually the Rio Grande. Follow east for El. Camino Real and N. Main St.
Stay West for Hoagland and Picacho, turn east for Alameda and Madrid.
East side of canal is smoother than west between Hoagland Rd. and McClure Rd.
Diagonal across gravel/dirt lot. Be ready to wait for traffic at Picacho.
Downtown mall. Watch for construction. Main St. will be routed through here when it's finished.
