The way points of this bicycle route:
Pick up some coffee and a bagel at Syd's. Then saddle up! Head east on Hwy. 28.
Bit of a hill here.
You can take a left here to go up the Brockway Summit to Northstar and Truckee.
Another hill, up to the State Line.
Stop in at the Cal-Neva Lodge to relieve yourself--of any extra money, that is.
Stay left on the main highway (Hwy 28--Mt. Rose Highway)
Left onto Hwy. 431. Careful on the left turn as oncoming traffic comes over the rise.
Sweeping right turn.
Spectacular views. Nice spot for a photo op and a drink.
Keep going.
Very slight down hill before the last climb.
