Tadcaster to Lotherton loop

This is a mainly off-road route, the on-road parts being low traffic and speedy. A few short steep climbs and some nice down-hill bits. There is a cafe at Lotherton Hall, which makes a good stop half-way round. Watch out for thorns and punctures during the hedge trimming season. There are some nice views towards the East. Try to spot which power station is which. Lotherton Hall, Lead Church and the Towton Battlefield are all worth a visit.by billio
