The way points of this bicycle route:
This will be your start and ending point. Just be sure you DON'T park in the stalls that are marked for boats and trailers!
Take a slight right hand turn then continue straight onto J St.
Continue under Hwy 5, street becomes J Street
Turn right on 4th Ave.
Continue on 4th Ave.
Becomes Hermosa
Take a left on Main Street, should be a signal light
Take a Right onto Beyer Way
Be sure and turn on Beyer WAY (there are two streets with the name of Beyer)
Bear left on Beyer Way
Street changes name to Picado Blvd.
Keep going straight, the road just changes names
Street will now become Smythe Ave.
This is approximately where the road name changes
Take a right onto Beyer Blvd., then take next left
Here is where you have to cross the rail road tracks
Take right on S. Vista Ave., you have now cross the railroad tracks
Changes name to Vista Lane
Take a left off of Vista Lane -- watch for traffic coming from both directions.
Now you will find less traffic and more rural area
This is where the cars thin out and makes for a nicer ride
Stay straight, it just changes names to Monument Rd.
Not much traffic around here
You could continue on Monument Rd. and ride to the ocean to see the TJ Bull ring and then ride back, it would add another few miles.
Be careful at this intersection, traffic can be heavy.
There is a great place to eat at the end of the Imperial Beach Pier
Make a Left onto Saturn Blvd.
You will enter the bike path that will exit at Bay Blvd.

On your way back watch for your left hand turn back to Marina Parkway
