steep till Colonial Ln - 39/25.
small climb to Bay Laurel Ln.
gentle climb to the next point.
There are no houses on the road and the view is beautifull - you can see the mountain as well as the city on your right. You are still climbing. If you are riding in the evening you can catch a nice Sunset on your right.
top of Suncrest.
Watch your speed - you can hit 30 mph at the right turn.
Watch your speed - you will make a sharp left.
Climbing again it is steep and the good news is - it is a very short climb.
flat - you can take it easy.
Watch your speed again and hold on your brakes - it is downhill and fast. As soon you past the big house on the right and some mail boxes on the left - look to your left to find the trail. You will see the wooden gate about 200 ft on your left from the road.
Get off you bike and get it thru the gate.
Down hill trail watch for trekkers.
Here you can go up or down the trail - If you have time then go up to Eagle Rock Point.
Go down hill the paved road. Make a sharp right onto Pen... Road. From here and on it is gentle downhill in the middle of the beautiful Alum Rock Park to the exit gate.
Follow Pen.. Rd to Piedmont. It is flat.
Turn right here - few more blocks you are home.
