Note - this route is actually mapped back to front !! Bit messed up as got turned around in Chorlton, but a simple and non hilly ride First part to Chorlton mainly off road down an old railway ( think we may lose this soon as the Metro appears to be being extended) then Chester Road has decent cycle lanes. Manchester centre is easy enough to find a safe route through and Rochdale / Oldham road and Alan Turing way all have decent cycle lanes as well.by Stoupa
