Stevens Canyon Loop
by chaiken

The way points of this bicycle route:

McClellan has relatively light traffic, at least on weekends.

Onto Stevens Canyon Road, which has a bike lane although it soon ends.

Modest uphill here, with some downhill thrown in as well.

Port-aPotty and allegedly water here at the Reservoir.

Keep going on leafy, quiet and narrow but well-paved Stevens Canyon.

Shady in summer and scenic to boot.

Back down Stevens Canyon

This section of Mt. Eden is a steady uphill, but not steep.

Nice view of the Valley from the top.

Saratoga

Down a steady but not too steep hill. Narrow in places but not unsafe.

Saratoga-Sunnyvale is busy but has a wide bike lane.

Prospect is a busier suburban street.
