The way points of this bicycle route:

Nice warmup. flat route in beautiful green countryside

Daglan

Absolutely beautiful village, rebuilt in recent years.

leaving Daglan. Heading on the D60 to StPompont

slightly rising gradient , in abeautiful valley

Just outside SaintPompont turn left

Campagnac-Les-Quercy

Beautiful rolling, but mainly downhill, be careful on some of the descents, some tight corners and usually gravel about.

Join the D2 into Salviac

Salviac

Lovely town with some wonderful cafes.

Stood here 11 years ago and watched Bjarne Riis on his way to beating Big Mig!

Nice surface but can get alittle busy. now heading to Gourdon

The busiest part of the road. Now approaching quite a climd into Gourdon.

Gourdon

Be careful in the busy narrow streets.

Gourdon

Take aleft at first Major roundabout in the town

very steep descent out of Gourdon

After a few km of up and down it becomes a pretty fast run into Groejeac.

Grolejac

Turn left onto the wonderful D50. Quite a climb heading eventually up to Domme airport.

A real apline climb with swtichbacks.

Quite apull as my yorkshire mate Bob says!

At the top. You can continue on D50 over the top. we take aright here and avoid the very steep descent.

Views are magnificent

very fast descent here, some tricky corners

Half way down, look out for joing main road. Take a sharp left up to the beautiful bastide town of Domme.

Domme

Be very careful entering through the portcullis. One way takes you left and you need to be in bottom gear. 100m at 25% with usually a car at your backside and pedestrians in front!

Domme

You must stop at the top at the viewing point. The Dordogne at its best, breathtaking views. This makes all the hard work worth it. We usually fill our drinks bottles at the cafe to the right of the viewing point, very helpful!

Cenac

straight across at the crossroads at the bottom. Be careful VERY busy!

Very fast descent down into Cenac. Over taking cars , great fun!

start of 2.5 km climb. Last of the day before 3km descent back to Saint-Cybranet!

Saint-Cybranet

Past our beloved hotel Beau Rivage, wher we have spent ours and drank quite afew beers watching the tour. very good food!

Camping Bel Ombrage

Heaven on Earth!
