Turn off Batchwood Hall's perimiter drive onto bridleway
Field edge bridleway parallel to the golf course
Cross field on bridleway
Join Childwickbury estate road (tarmac)
Turn left onto harpenden road. Usable shared-use cycle route on the left hand side
Turn right (crossing Harpenden road) onto Ayres End Lane
Turn right onto bridleway
Left onto Sandridge high street, or stop for a drink in one of the pubs
Fork right onto Coleman Green Lane
Right onto Hammonds Lane
Turn right onto track
Follow bridleway downhill through the edge of the wood. Watch out for horses..
Through gate and right onto Woodcock Hill
Left onto lane
Turn right onto farm track after mobile phone masts. Watch out for cable gate across the track.
Turn left onto Jersey Lane
Turn right onto bridleway running along the Northern edge of Jersey Farm
Cross Sandrigham Crescent into Chiltern Road
Right onto bridleway immediately after zebra crossing
Coss the Ridgeway through gap in fence into spinney
Turn right up Skys Wood road, fork Left onto Pondfield Crescent
Turn right onto Kingshill Avenue
Turn left onto the Ridgeway
Turn right onto Marshalswick Lane
Straight on at traffic lights onto Beech Road
Straight on at traffic lights, Beech Bottom Dyke on right hand side
Turn right into Batchwood Hall's drive
Turn left onto bridleway crossing golf course
Turn right up the hill towards starting point- be careful, going against one-way traffic!
