The way points of this bicycle route:
There is a car park in Georges Lane, take the first unmade road off A283 1Km from the A24, park up and switch to pedal power.
From the car park cycle back toward the A283, cross over and use the path toward the right, after 100m take left by the house.
Follow signs for southdown way, straight up a very long off road climb
At the top of the hill join the southdowns way turn right (west) and enjoy the views over west sussex as you follow the top of the downs
Possible exit point back down Chantry lane into Storrington beware this is a very steep hill on a public road, the discs will be glowing at the bottom
Careful in the wet this is a very steep offroad descent
Fork right leaving the Southdown Way
Careful crossing this busy road it is a local raceway !!
Nice pub here with a garden overlooking the "wild brooks" bird sanctuary
Cut thro the woods in the direction of the main road
Cut thro the woods here toward the main road, you are looking to cross the A283 onto a bridlepath, follow the path for 2 Km going around a lovely country pad.
Turn left onto Hurston Lane after 1Km after crossing a stream take a bridlepath into the farm turn immeadiately right toward the Golf Course
Find the bridlepath that cuts right thro the 5th fairway
Leave the golf course up Nyetimber, turn right onto haglands, cross over mill road fork right down lordings lane at the jountion with smock ally look for a bridleway opposite maybe slightly to the left as you exit lordings
Follow bridleway onto High Bat lane
left onto Storrington road up hill drag for 1 km turn right into The Street sign post White Lion Pub
After the White Lion take left onto Crays Lane
Opposite Peacocks Lane take bridleway on right
After the steep uphill offroad bit join Park Lane for a quick down hill blast on the lane
left onto muttons lane
turn right onto rock road
Left into Georges Lane and back to the car park
