The way points of this bicycle route:
Mount pavement to use path to reach crossing controlled by lights.
Tankerville Place is far too bumpy for my liking. Tankerville Terrace gets quite busy with school children...
Nice copper clad bay windows in the houses on Kingsland.
Take care mounting pavement onto a (supposed) cycle path.
Annoyingly full of students.
Turn left here to avoid the mismash of buses at the next junction.
City Pool
Barrier means tuning left is naughty but nice & easy through the remaining gap.
Central Library; has some under-cover (sort of) bike racks.
Police station.
Watch here for peds not watching out for you. This is mainly used by buses so a bike isn't as expected.
Here you have a choice: dismount and walk bike into the station, or carry on.
There is a small ramp, usually empty which is handy for pulling up onto. Nicer than fighting the taxis and peds a bit further on.
Welcome to Bikely, take a step by step tour of this path:
Press Start Tour - then use the navigation buttons below to move along the path.
Designed to keep the bike rolling but not necessarily quite the fastest route. Also avoids main roads or paths along them.
