The way points of this bicycle route:
Park at the LDS church on San Gabriel Canyon Road
Enter the San Gabriel River cycling trail from N. San Gabriel Canyon Road immediately across the street from the ranger station.
Turn left at the nature station and follow the road around the rec area to the dam.
Take the bike trail to the left to descend to street level. Turning right continues around the dam.
Cross Arrow and continue to follow the trail along the San Gabriel River wash on the west side.
Turn right then an immediate left to continue south along the trail at the crossroads.
Follow the bike path south around the golf course.
Take a left where the bike path emerges on San Gabriel River Parkway. Stay on the north side of the street and turn left after crossing the river. There's a clover-leaf bike trail to get you from street level back to the trail. After crossing the San Gabriel River the bike path will follow the river on the east side the rest of the way to Seal Beach.
