This is a great bike ride! You can make an easy day of it by riding up to Manchester and taking the commuter rail back (trains accept bikes on all weekend trains). Or you can make it a longer R/T trek which is very doable. There is a significant amount of traffic on this scenic route which is a bit of a distraction, but still a great ride.
