The way points of this bicycle route:

Start

Start at the Strauss Statue near the Golden Gate Bridge Visitors' Center on the south end of the bridge.

Pedestrian Path

Take the pedestrian path behind the statue to get to the bridge -- go right when the path forks.

Gravel Path

Veer left on the gravel path

101 Overpass

Go under the bridge/101.

Enter GGB Bike Lane

Careful -- watch for clusters of slow-moving tourists!

Caution -- Pylon!

Be careful when rounding the bridge's two pylons -- watch for stopped tourists and/or strong crosswinds!

Caution!

Again, mind the pylons!

Caution!

Watch for stopped tourists and/or cyclists!

Conzelman Parking Lot

Right onto Conzleman Road

Veer left onto Sausalito Lateral

Caution -- Narrow Tunnel!

Downtown Sausalito

Enter Bike Path

Enter the bike path just before Mike's Bikes.

Caution -- Street Crossing!

Water/Bathrooms

There's a water fountain and bathrooms at the water-treatment building here.

Caution -- Street Crossing!

Cross E. Blithedale Ave here and go left.

Right onto Camino Alto

Enjoy the climb up Camino Alto

Camino Alto becomes Corte Madera

Caution -- Stop Sign!

Stop sign at the bottom of a steep windy decent.

Town of Larkspur

Caution -- stop signs!

Be certain you come to complete stops at any stop signs in Larkspur - the police are out and hiding!

Right Turn

Left Turn onto San Anselmo Ave.

Merge onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd.

Climbing White's Hill

Right onto Nicasio Valley Rd.

Town of Nicasio

Visit the General Store for food/fluids and there's a porta-potty across the road next to the baseball diamond.

Right onto Point Reyes-Petaluma Rd

Left onto Hicks Valley Rd

Climb the Marshall Wall!

Left onto Highway 1

Visit the Bovine Bakery!

Olema

Stop at the Olema Liquor and Deli to refuel.

Left onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd at Olema

Big Climb!

Stay on road or take the trail

If you can find the entrance to the Marin Cross Valley Trail you can take that through Samuel P. Taylor Park -- it's much better than the road. Otherwise, stay on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. through the park.

Completing the Loop

Back at Nicasio Valley Blvd.
