The way points of this bicycle route:
Slam Gate Rd is pretty rough and gravely. Could be worth it just to stay on 810, unless you want to see what's out Slam Gate (some cool estates)
Fox Mtn Rd is pretty rough for about the first half, if you're going clockwise. That's also the climb. On the way down, it smooths out a bit so you can ease up on the brakes and take the descent fairly quickly on a road bike.
Paved
Dirt/gravel, but very smooth and fast.

You could take a right on Clark Rd, another fairly rough gravel road. If you're on a mtn bike, it would definitely be worth it. Our Lady of the Angels Monastery is back there, where they make and sell spectacular gouda cheese.

Mostly on gravel roads--I did it with my cross bike running 25mm gatorskin slicks. Would be great for a big mtn bike loop.
