The way points of this bicycle route:
This route is not for skinny road tires. Fairgrounds, go north
cross 280 at lights. (Press walk button for faster crossing)
proceed past entrance to Industrial Park to railroad tracks.
Follow tracks under 35W (watch out for trains!) there is a bumpy trail beside the tracks
cross tracks using narrow path and cross walnut street to steep service entrance for golf course that resembles a gravel mound.
dirt path skirts golf course and turns into sidewalk.
follow sidewalk ( or street) up to cemetary entrance
other-wordly "tower of memories" is here
at exit of cemetary, take right onto old railbed - it makes an interesting trail (with rocks)
I doubled back here. Not sure if trail continues or not.
nice cruise along railbed
sidewalk to ridgeway parkway ( alternative is to continue down to industrial blvd. - not very pleasant.)
