RIGHT to Kilchiaran on a westerly loop to Portnahaven, returning on the A847 to the finish.

A MEDIUM ride, on what is a compact and beautiful Hebridian stunner on the first Sunday of August. GEARS: 39x25 or compact - several steep, but short (300m, 10%+) power climbs; INFO: www.thewashingmachinepost.net.

On the day there are several 'Bail-Out' points and, you will pass 5 of Islay's 8 distilleries amongst some of the finest scenery Islay, indeed Scotland, has to offer.
