follow Bike Routes 5 + 9 onto sidewalk on west side of Broadway, then north on sidewalk up ramp, then west on Dunn Memorial Bridge over Hudson River. On other side of river, sidewalk turns north down to street.
On other side of river, sidewalk turns north, goes steeply down and ends at an intersection with streets where sidewalk users do not have right of way -- so a stop is required immediately at the bottom. Sign says that bicycles must be walked doe the ramp. [as of 2005]

From the Rip Van Winkle bridge north thru Hudson and Kinderhook to the Dunn Memorial bridge at Albany, going on the east side of the Hudson River -- half of a loop around the two bridges. Mostly avoids higher-traffic roads. Map points tweaked for GPS navigation, but not tested. routeID = [bhvr8a].
