Dedicated bike lane through moderate traffic along Central Ave
The map doesn't show it but there is a paved bike path that descends to the west at this point. This is the Rio Salado park area, maintained by the City of Phoenix.
Continue along this beautiful paved bike path and cross underneath the 7th Avenue bridge. A wetlands habitat is being maintained in the river to your left; expect to see many species of birds. To your right, separated by fencing, you see industrial lots.
