Ride to Hindu Temple & Palace

33 miles is paved, but 2 miles is packed gravel / dirt... I did it w 700/23 tires, but wish I had cyclecross tires. The route will take you up to the temple and palace and New Vrindaban - see http://newvrindaban.com/ - a Hindu temple build by the followers of Krishna back in the 70s I believe. It was packed with tourist, mostly Indian, when I passed through. There were as many as 2,000 people living there communally at its peak in the 70s/80s. Anyway, it makes for a nice ride with a store stop at 17 miles, then back.by bmiller
