The way points of this bicycle route:
get on the cedar river trail, head out, ride about 10 miles.
The trail will approach 18 which is a high overpass. do not go under! there will be a parks sign for the trail and a gravel parking lot. the trail will seem to continue but it turns into gravel within a mile. instead, at the parking area, just get onto 169, you'll go through one light and take the next left
left on Witte Rd SE. nice winding road.
left when you get back to MV-BD Rd SE AKA 169, go up two streets and left again.
left on SE 240th. note, on your right is a strip mall, last chance for food/water for like 20 miles. this will curve thru a subdivision and become 234th way SE
follow it right as it turns into 234th way SE
Left on SE 244th St
Rt on 240th Ave SE. this road has some rolling hills with a couple short but STEEP uphills.
Rt on Landsburg Rd SE
Left on SE Kent Kangley Rd
stay left, avoid Retreat Kanasket
turn Right onto SE Kanasket-Kangley Rd
Left onto Cumberland Kanasket Rd SE, there's a bit of a hill & bridge
key chance for beverages or snacks at the Cumberland Deli, a convenience store mostly with basics.
Rt on SE 392nd St. road will curve left into 272nd, then right into SE 400th, then cross a light at 169.
veer left onto SE 400th Way
Potential lunch stop, the Krain Corner Inn smelled good as we went by. 360-802-0484
RT on 212th Ave SE, there's a flashing light though a small intersection.
road curves left then turn right to stay on 212th Ave SE
Pass argyle farm on right, turn left on SE Green Valley Rd for a nice long section back to Auburn.
left on SE Auburn Black Diamond Rd AKA 58. Cross under 18
RT on 8th St NE which becomes SE 320th. Note, a few blocks to the left is a 7-11, good fuel stop. cut left on 6th to loop the block.
left on 104th Ave SE at the next light
left on Green River Rd SE, just before a discouragingly steep hill!
you'll clearly cross the interurban trail. turn left and you'll see the Green River trail splitting off to the right. take that.
Get off the trail at bicentennial park (when you see the little log cabin on the left) and get onto Strander Blvd which is the overpass you just went under. Go over the pass and straight thru the light towards the fast food places, then left onto the interurban trail.
right on S Longacres Way, which is named like 158th. it has private property signs and seems a little creepy.
left on Longacres Dr SW, which means following a path-opening through a fence. all still a little creepy.
left under 405 and curve right to end up on Grady Way
just before Oakesdale Ave SW turn left onto the springbrook trail. take your first opportunity to exit the trail and end up on SW 7th st. you'll want to go "right" vs your trail direction.
FYI the Black River Riparian Forest is home to a Heron Rookery. SW 7th is a light off Oaksdale Ave between Monster Rd and SW Grady Way, if you get lost.
take SW 7th into Renton, left as it seems to end, on Burnette Ave S
we can turn right on S 3rd and cut over to the under bridge parking. voila!
or Rt on S Tobin, left on N Riverside to return to Liberty Park

an awesome loop posted by IC3 Washington, thanks! I added annotations for a printable cue sheet, noted food stops, and simplified a couple places to make it easier to follow. Nice ride!
