The way points of this bicycle route:
Take Petrie Tce
Turn left at Gregory Terrace
This is where the two rides part. The longer ride will take Bowen Bridge Rd, the shorter ride goes straight ahead up Gregory Tce.
Turn left on to Brookes St
Turn right on to Campbell St
Turn left on to Abbotsford Rd
Take Sandgate Road up the hill
Toombul Shopping Centre is on your right.
Take the off ramp to Nundah Village to avoid going through the tunnel. There will be signage directing all cyclists to avoid the tunnel.
Turn right at the lights, back on to Sandgate Road
Stay on Sandgate Rd as you go up over the train lines and then the road will split. Stay left.
On Sandgate Road, you will come to an on ramp for the Gateway Motorway. Take care crossing the ramp, but you want to stay on Sandgate Road going straight ahead.
Here, things go on to back streets, and get a little bit interesting... Start making your way over to the right lane after you've passed underneath the Motorway and over the creek
Turn right on to Musgrave St immediately after the Woolworths petrol station.
Turn right into Norman St.
Turn right on to Smith St
Turn right to go over the train lines. As soon as you go over the train lines, you'll be going left.
Turn left into Albury St
Straight ahead on Albury St passed Edith St.
Turn right into Silvan Road when the you've passed the park.
Turn right into Bridge St.
Turn left to go over the train lines into Kennedy St, just in front of the train station.
Turn right on to Rainbow St.
At the traffic lights, turn left towards the Sandgate town centre.
You want to go right around the really big roundabout, but only to Second Ave
Get off the roundabout to turn towards the water and go up Second Ave / Cliff St.
At the small roundabout, turn left. You will be at the esplanade at Sandgate.
Head north towards the bridge... just keep the water on your right until you can't go any further.

From here, get on to the bike path to cross at the lights, or go straight ahead to get on to the old bridge.
Get on to the esplanade as you come out of the carpark at the end of the old bridge.
From the Hornibrook Esplanade, turn right to head along Oxley Ave, where the croquet club is.
Right turn on to Oxley Ave
Left at the roundabout, up Lilla St.
Straight ahead at this roundabout.
