Randwick/Queens Park to Enmore ('The Workshop')
by spudly

The way points of this bicycle route:

Randwick, Queens Park

From Musgrave Ave entrance, follow cycleway on Grand Drive around to opposite end of Centennial park.

Cross road, slide into shared pedestrian/cycle track - Fox studios on right, Moore Park tennis and netball courts on left.

Busy intersection - cross Anzac Pde, cycle along path parallel to Cleveland St. Cheerio Sydney High schoolgirls.

Watch out for traffic turning in from the left, or from Cleveland St on the right. Turn sharply left into the cycleway (running around the Moore Park field).

Cross the footbridge (watch out for horsepats).

From here up to Redfern Station, be creative! Take the little streets with the prettiest terraces, but just remember to head west generally.

Uphill then downhill! At the lights at hill bottom, go straight ahead with the traffic OR (for quieter route) turn right and take Redfern Lane onto Chalmers.

Watch for incoming cars - you're on a oneway street. Turn left onto the footpath at the drycleaner's, wait for the green man with the pedestrians. (The police station should be in sight by now.)

Unless its superbusy, you can probably slip into the road - take the far left lane and follow it past the Police station and Redfern station.

Sharp left, off main road.

Weeee down Wilson St, past Stucco.

Newtown

Manoeuver around pedestrians coming out of Newtown Station (on King) and get onto Enmore Rd

Take the backstreets to the Workshop
