Start here. I think it's around 2600 ft of actual climbing.
Stay on N. Northlake Way and ride under Freemont Bridge then up and on top of Freemont Bridge going South.

Ride under Freemont Bridge going West
Right on Evanston Ave N.
Right onto N. 34th Bike Lane Access going East. Then turn Right to cross Freemont Bridge.
Right on Florentia heading West.
Left turn on Queen Anne Ave North - 20% climb - stay on Q.A. Ave through several stop signs.
Right at Blaine St.
Stay on W. Blaine St.
Right on 9th Ave W.
Down W. Howe Street - cobblestone and steep grade.
Right on 11th Ave W, then head down Gilman Dr W. until you hit 15th AVe NW. at the signal light.
Take the off ramp to W. Dravus St. and prepare for a Left turn on W. Dravus St.
Left on W. Dravus St. heading West.
Right turn onto 20th Ave W. which will turn into Gilman Ave W. shortly.
Stay on Gilman Ave W.
Prepare for Left turn at Emerson St.
W. Emerson turns int W. Manor Pl. stay on the climb - 18% grade ahead.
Stop sign at top of climb, go straight onto W. Ruffner St.
Right turn onto 30th Ave W.
Follow arterial turn left to stop sign. Turn Left onto W. Government Way
Enter Discovery Park and take immediate Right turn towards Fort Lawton Texas St.
Straight through stop sign onto Kansas Ave past the North parking lot of Disc. Park.
Follow the trail road uphill until it intersects Utah Ave.
Left turn at Utah Ave heading East now.
Left turn on Kansas Ave down to North parking lot.
Caution this area may be slick.
Heading East on Kansas Ave, take a right looping turn after you pass the North parking lot heading South now.
Climb Illinois Ave - solid 12-14% grade climb.
Top of Illinois Ave climb - will descend Washington Ave and turn Right into the Discovery Park Visitor's Center parking lot.
Right turn into Disc. Pk Visitor's Center.
Take trail path around to the back side of Vistitor's Center and loop back up towards Illinois Ave and Washington Ave
You have climbed back up though the trail path at this point and back onto Illinois Ave.
Left turn heading West on Utah Ave. Follow this road all the way to the Lighthouse trail.
Stay on Utah Ave heading West.
Stay on Utah Ave heading West.
Stay on Utah Ave heading West.
Head down Utah Ave. Caution for pedestrians and car traffic.
End of road. You can take a short trail path to the lighthouse if desired.
Lighthouse at the end of the trail. Head back up the hill Utah Ave - a long 12-16% grade climb and it smells bad.
Stay on Utah Ave. and turn Right onto Idaho Ave.
Idaho Ave. turns into Oregon Ave. continue heading South.
Leaving Disc. Park at South Entrance. Left onto W. Emerson St.
Right onto Magnolia Blvd. W. and stay on this road.
Stay on Magnolia Blvd W. heading South. Scenic views along this next section of road.
Road veers left and turn right on W. Howe St. heading East now.
Take W. Howe St. going East.
Right on Condon Way W. until it hits Thorndyke Ave W.
Left on Thorndyke Ave W. and descend to 20th Ave W.
Stay on 20th Ave N. heading North.
Right turn on W. Dravus St. and continue over the 15th Ave W. overpass.
Right turn on 14th Ave W. Follow it to the left when it forks in a few blocks.
Shallow left turn to parallel Gilman Dr. W. then a quick jog right then left again onto Gilman Dr. W. going South and heading up.
The map doesn't folow the jog right, stop sign, then left turn here onto Gilman Ave. W.
Follow 11th Ave W. heading South.
Left turn at W. Blaine St.
Climb W. Blaine St. - 22% Grade - listed as second steepest hill in Seattle.
Right turn down 9th Ave W.
Left hairpin turn and back up 9th Ave W.
Right turn at W. Blaine St.
Hairpin turn right and onto 8th Ave W.
Scenic views from this point as you pass Parson's Gardens and Kerry Park going south then East.
Turn left onto W. Highland Dr. and head East.
Scenic viewpoint of Space Needle and Mt. Rainier from Kerry Park.
Follow the right fork and onto Prospect St. - Caution go slow blind corner and left turn is coming up.
Left onto Prospect St.
Left turn onto Warren Ave and climb another of the top 20 steepest hills in Seattle - 20% grade.
Left turn on Lee St.
Right turn on Warren Ave N.
Finish at Q.A. Water tower and Fire Station. Just at 20 miles at this point. Return to GW Park if desired.
