The way points of this bicycle route:
Turn right onto the 205 bike trail. (as of January 2008 the 205 bike trail is closed for trimet MAX construction. There is a very well marked detour. Just follow the signs and it will take you to the springwater trail.)
Turn Left onto the Springwater Corridor. From here you should be heading east and if you're lucky Mt. Hood will be towering over you.
Bear RIGHT off SE Telford Rd. onto 272nd.
Left onto SE Hwy 212 aka Main St. There is a nice wide shoulder here.
Right onto SE Ritchey Rd. From here there is almost NO SHOULDER. I saw a handful of fruitstands along the next mile or so. I'd bet they are excellent for cyclists when in season. All seemed to say they were closed on sundays.
Right onto SE Kelso Rd.
Left onto SE Amisigger. Still not much shoulder but could be worse. The golf course here has a bar & grill and I bet it would be easy to re-fill your water. There is an amazing view of Mt. Hood.
Next mile or two is all downhill with NO SHOULDER at all. There is a small creek on the left.
Left Hwy 224 aka Clackamas Hwy.
Left onto SE Hwy 211 aka Eagle Creek Sandy Hwy NO 172
Right onto Eagle Creek Rd.
Right on NE 6th Ave.
Right on Broadway St.
Back onto E Hwy 224 aka Clackamas Hwy.
Right onto E Faraday Rd.
Faraday Dam is close to here I think. I've been told that part of Faraday Rd. is closed to cars.
Somewhere around here this old road becomes a MUP. (Multi Use Path)
Right, back onto 224 aka Clackamas Hwy.
Now following the clackamas River. Supposedly there are lots of campgrounds along here.
Onto NFD 4631 RD. Stay on paved road.
Right onto Ripplebrook Rd.
Turns into Pipeline Rd.
Left (east) onto NFD 4630 Rd.
Left onto Oak Grove Fork Rd. aka NFD 57 Rd.
aka Timothy Lake Rd.
Left onto NFD 58 Rd.
Right onto NFD 5810 Rd.
Have read reports of lots of downed limbs & stuff on this part of the path.
Bear Left and stay on NFD 5810.
Somewhere along here there's a stream which has washed out the trail
Left onto NFD 57 Rd.
Turns into NFD 42, keep heading east/northeast
NFD 42 Rd. aka oregon skyline rd
Right onto Hwy 26. Should have a wide shoulder
Left onto NFD 43 Rd. aka Cedar Burn Rd.
Left onto NFD 48 Rd
Right onto Mt. Hood Hwy aka 35.
Left onto an old road, dunno what its name is.
Right at the T
Left then right back onto Mt. Hood Hwy 35 heading east/northeast.
Bear Left onto Copper Spur Rd.
Keep going straight, stay on Copper Spur rd.
Option?: take right here on Baseline Dr then Left onto Toll Bridge Rd where you may find the first services in a long time, then come back this way and head west on Baseline Dr. I have not mapped the loop to Toll Bridge Rd.
Right onto Hood River Hwy aka Dee Hwy.
Bear Left to stay on Dee Hwy aka Hood River Hwy.
Bear Left onto Tucker Rd. Overnight camping in a park near here.
Left onto Barrett Dr.
Right on Methodist Rd.
Right on Multnomah Rd/Dr.
Multnomah Rd turns into Frankton Rd.

Most of this route was taken from another Bikely route, I just changed the direction and made a few changes for me. I have only ridden the first 20 miles of this route. I will add information as I explore it further. Thanks to: http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/around-Mt-Hood-Hood-River-back-to-Portland
