The way points of this bicycle route:
Start at Portfolio...head down to 3rd for a mellower ride
3rd is a two way road...generally light traffic...take it past Redondo than jog up a street to Colorado
Cruise up to Colorado...another mellow street...an official bikeway of sorts...
Now the fun part....short uphill on Bellflower....when you get to the intersection at PCH, be prepared to take the lane the rest of the way...
